ECO PARK : A AMUSEMENT PARK 🏞️🏞️

ECO PARK is the largest amusement park of KOLKATA and so far in the list of top 10 amusement parks in INDIA. It is in New Town of Kolkata. It is situated on 480 acres of land and surrounded by 120 acres water body with an island 🏝️ in the middle.

There is many things to do and see in ECO PARK like double cycling,boating, trampoline, a ride in water ball,etc. There is toy train also through which one can enjoy the whole eco park 🏞️.

HOWRAH BRIDGE : INDIA’S BIGGEST CANTILEVER BRIDGE 🌉🌉

Howrah Bridge is the India’s biggest cantilever bridge. It is built over Hooghly River and it connects Kolkata and Howrah district. Its construction was started in the year 1936 and it was completed after 6 years i.e. in the year 1942. Its structure was designed by Rendel, Parmer and Tritton. Braithwaite, Burn and Jessop Company took the responsibility to built it.

Fact : There is not even a single nut- bolt in Howrah Bridge #amazing

The bridge is 705 m long in length and 82 m long in height. It was named Rabindra Setu on 14 June 1965 in the memory of great poet Rabindranath Tagore.

The view of Hooghly River which is seen from Howrah Bridge is really heart stealing ❤️ and in night when Howrah Bridge is lighten up, the view is so amazing that you can’t even move your eyes from it👀 #eyecatcher .

Victoria Memorial

Victoria Memorial : The pride of Kolkata is a large building made of marble. Its construction was started in the year 1906 and it took almost 15 years to completed i.e. it was completed in the year 1921(nearly 100 years). It was made in the memory of Queen Victoria, the then British ruler. It engineers were William Emerson and Vincent Esch. It is basically a museum where all kinds of stuffs of Queen Victoria and other stuffs like weapons, armours, of that age are preserved. It is covered by a very big beautiful garden from all sides which enhances it’s beauty even more . A very beautiful park is also made beside the Memorial which is usually for citizens and it’s speciality is its water show at the evening, park name is Citizen Park. The view outside and inside the memorial is really heartwarming ❤️❤️. Its pleasure to visit this once . 😊😊
